Ampleforth Abbey Orchard & Cider Mill Tour with Lunch
Visit this wonderful Abbey, with a guided your of the Abbey Orchard and Cider Mill. You can enjoy an overview of ths history of the orchard with cider and apple juice tasting along with a tasting menu of baked apple products.
The schedule for the day would be:
11:00 - Approximate arrival at the Orchard for a tour and tasting
12:30 - Travel across to the visitor centre carpark.
12:30-13:00 - Spend time in the Abbey Church or the Art Exhibition in Alban Roe Houe
12:50 - 13:15 - Afternoon office in the Abbey Church (This is a choral service; visitors must be in place before 13:00 when the doors will close. They will reopen to walk around after 13:15)
13:15 - 14:00 - Look around the visitor centre and exhibition spaces
14:00 - Lunch and refreshments in the Tearoom (dietary requirements will be required in advance)
The included lunch will be soup of the day, a selection of sandwiches and freshly baked scones with jam and cream all served with either hot or cold drink.
