Chorley Market
Everything in my hand just 50p, cries the trader. Standing and serving the people of Chorley for more than 500 years the famous markets are a treat and must see for every visitor. Stalls line the streets of Chorley town centre and together with the Covered Market, over 100 stalls sell everything from fresh fruit and vegetables to cosmetics and clothes. You will see stalls lining the streets of Fazakerley Street, Chapel Street, New Market Street, Cleveland Street and the bottom half of High Street. Traditionally, the Tuesday market was held on the Flat Iron (sometimes known locally as the Cattle Market).
