Lune Aqueduct Cruise with Fish & Chips
Voted Lancaster’s top tourist attraction and one of the waterways seven wonders, the Lune Aqueduct Cruise is more popular than ever.
Join the cruise at the mooring at Aldcliffe Road a short distance from the centre of the city. On departing we cruise past the refurbished mills once the home of the local company of Storey Brothers famous for its plastics and wallpapers.
A great view of the magnificent spire of the cathedral is captured as the boat passes underneath. Once through the city centre the boat cruises through the suburban outskirts and into the North Lancashire countryside before arriving at the the 100 foot structure that is the Lune Aqueduct.
You will be served freshly cooked Fish & Chips, delivered hot from Hodgson's award-winning chippy, to your table while you enjoy fabulous scenery.
Subject to weather conditions passengers may alight and take in the views from the top of the Aqueduct. These views include the city scape, the river Lune itself and on a clear day as far as North Yorkshire and the flat topped hill of Ingleborough.
