Salford Quays is an area of Salford, Greater Manchester, England, near the end of the Manchester Ship Canal. Previously the site of Manchester Docks, it became one of the first and largest urban regeneration projects in the United Kingdom following the closure of the dockyards in 1982.

RHS Bridgewater
The herculean task of restoring, regenerating and replanting Bridgewater has been a labour of love for staff, volunteers and contractors. Their hard work, the vision of award-winning designers and the extraordinary heritage of the site has brought them to the point where they can open the gates to share this truly inspiring garden.
There is so much to see – the Weston Walled Garden contains multiple garden rooms, setting the tone for a journey of exploration with colourful themed borders, complementary sub-gardens each exploring a different horticultural style and characterful listed buildings. The wider woodland, meadows and lakes further your enjoyment.
