Thornton Le Dale & Scarborough Fair Collection
Thornton le Dale is one of the best-loved sights in the whole of the National Park. It's a highly picturesque village, centred on a tiny triangular green with its old market cross and stocks. The red roofed harbour town of Whitby is a popular seaside resort with bags of history and character.
The Scarborough Fair Collection hosts a magnificent working collection of Vintage Cars, Steam Engines, Vintage Fairground Rides and Mechanical Organs topped off with a Mighty Wurlitzer Organ in our spacious ballroom.
Bump on the bumper cars, re-live a by gone era on the gallopers or take your breath away on the speedway there is a ride for everyone at The Scarborough Fair Collection.
Running on the hour, every hour, you can twirl on the Tidman Golden Galloping Horses and enjoy times gone by. They were originally built in 1893 and have had several previous owners before finding their home at the Scarborough Fair Collection. We also have a rare caterpillar ride, a ghost train, an mini Austin car ride, The Cake Walk, Dodgems and 20th Century Thriller Noahs Ark. All that nostalgia set alongside classic fairground games such the Coconut Shy, a Strength Tester and ring throwing games.
You can try your hand on the Penny Arcade too and enjoy games from years ago!
